Bernyce Walker Eason
LOS ANGELES -- Bernyce Walker Eason,
84, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1998) at Culver West Convalescent Hospital
in Los Angeles.
She was born in Burlington, Iowa to
Bruce and Nettie Walker, who were former Newton residents. She
married Ted Eason who also was a former Newton resident. He preceded
her in death.
She was a 1932 graduate of Newton High
School and the former Axtell Hospital School of Nursing. She was a
nurse in Porterville, Calif., and served as a supervisor of nurses at
Cedars of Lebanon in Los Angeles.
Survivors include: one son, Bruce Eason
of Los Angeles; and one daughter, Annette Eason of Los Angeles. She
also was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas F. Walker.
Private services will be held in Los
Angeles at a later date.
