Frederick H. Bumm
HALSTEAD -- Frederick H. Bumm, 81,
retired farmer of rural Halstead, died Saturday (March 6, 1999) at
Halstead Hospital.
He was born Jan. 26, 1918, in rural
Sedgwick to Fred and Josephine (Kramp) Bumm. He married Florence L.
Moulds Sept. 5, 1953, at Halstead. She survives of the home.
He was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Halstead, Knights of Columbus and Farm Bureau.
Other survivors include one son, Larry
Bumm of Halstead, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by one infant brother, Leo Lawrence Bumm and one infant sister,
Catherine Bumm.
Rosary service will be at 7 p.m.
Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead. Mass of the
Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, also at the church,
with Father James R. O'Shea officiating. Burial will be in the
Halstead Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m.
Wednesday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead.
Memorials have been established with
Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Halstead Historical Society in care
of the funeral home.
