Joyce H. Brown
Joyce H. Brown, 55, of North Newton,
former inside sales representative for Hehr International in Newton,
died Saturday (May 22, 1999) at Kidron Bethel Heath Care after a long
battle with multiple Ssclerosis.
She was born Oct. 3, 1943, in
Burlington, Colo., to Albert David and Della Lorena (Clark) Statler.
She married Gerald (Jerry) K. Brown April 1, 1966, in Denver. He
preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1977.
She also was a former employee at E and
H Foam in Newton as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Immanuel
Baptist Church in Newton and Happy Days EHU.
She was a 1961 graduate of Burlington
High School.
Survivors include: two sons, Greg K.
Brown of Newton and Jeff K. Brown of Olathe; one brother, David
Statler of Burlington; one sister, Doris Knodel of Burlington; and
two grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. Kent Rogers
from Salem United Methodist Church officiating. Graveside services
will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Larned Cemetery with the Rev.
Charles Grant from United Methodist Church in Larned officiating.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today
with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
Memorials have been established with
Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the funeral home.
