Edward Reimer, 77, died on March 211, 2014 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita. He was born on June 16, 1937
to Henry and Maria Hildebrand Reimer. Edward married Barbara Wagner on June 26, 1955 in Walton. She survives of the home.
Edward held a membership with First United Church of Christ of Newton. He enjoyed helping his son, Daryl and spent many hours on the farm. He and Barbara did a lot of camping in previous years, creating wonderful memories with their family which he dearly loved.
Survivors: two sons, Roger Reimer and Daryl (Teri) Reimer; daughter, Janene Reimeer-Mabrey; 4 granddaughters; one grandson; two great granddaughters; and sister, Annie Fulkk.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 3 sisters and brother-in-laws, Olga (Irvin) Friesen, Edna (Otto) Eck and Irma (Clint) Robbins; one brother and sister-in-law, Elmer (Ann) Reimer and brother-in-law, Loren Funk.
Services will be held March 26 at First United Church of Christ in Newton. Burial will be at the Walton Cemetery.
