Frank L. Hill, 85, a Valley Center resident, died Thursday (Aug. 19, 1999) in Whitewater.

Hill was born May 19, 1914 in Newton to Park C. and Cynthia (Bigger) Hill. He married Elizabeth Ellen Trouslot July 10, 1935 in Whitewater.  He retired as a farmer and stockman and lived his entire life in Furley.

He is survived by his wife.  Other survivors include: three sons, Jack Johnson of Fort Scott, Dennis Hill of Benton and Ronnie Hill of Whitewater; a half-brother, Harry Bader of Sedgwick; a half-sister Velma Bader of Wichita; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 1999 and from 2:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 1999 with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bob Lamb Funeral Home Chapel in Whitewater.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 22, 1999 at Furley United Methodist Church in Furley with Pastors Bob Gleason and Ed Friesen officiating. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in Furley.  Memorials may be made to Wheat State Manor or the Furley United Methodist Church Building Fund.  Bob Lamb Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
