Mildred M. Walling
WHITEWATER -- Mildred M. Walling, 85,
died Tuesday (Aug. 24, 1999) near Whitewater.
She was born May 22, 1914, in Tipton,
Mo., to John and Letitia (Smith) Page. She married DeVaughn Walling
May 22, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1976.
She was a member of First Baptist
Church in Newton, Kid's Club and American Legion Auxiliary, both of
Whitewater and Historical Society in Remington.
Survivors are only cousins. There were
no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday at Lamb-Nutter Mortuary Chapel in Whitewater with the Revs.
Scott Martin and Ed Friesen officiating. Burial will be in the
Whitewater Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday
with family greeting friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
Memorials have been established with
Furley United Methodist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral
home.
