Heinz Peter Wallmeier

SEDGWICK Ñ Heinz Peter Wallmeier, 47, of Sedgwick, taxi cab driver, died Tuesday (Jan. 11, 2000) at Columbia Wesley Medical in Wichita.

He was born July 6, 1952, in Essen, Germany, to Heinz and Francesca Elizabeth (Gisela) Wallmeier. He married Pamela Eileen Vaughn Nov. 26, 1978, in Santa Ana, Calif. She survives of the home.

He had been a resident of Sedgwick for 10 years.

He was a U.S. Marine Crop veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Hicks-Davison American Legion Post No. 268 in Sedgwick.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Melinda Smith of Castle Rock, Colo., and Melissa Wallmeier and Francesca Wallmeier, both of the home; step mother, Ursula Wallmeier of Washington, Mo.; two brothers, Ralph Wallmeier of California, and Manfred Wallmeier of Pennsylvania; one sister, Chris Gargano of Watervliet, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with the Rev. James Mardock officiating.

Memorials have been established with American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
