Mildred M. Hall

Mildred M. Hall, 96, of Newton, died Saturday (Feb. 19, 2000) at Newton Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 14, 1903, in Potwin to Charlie and Emma Anna (Bokley) Rhoades. She married N.J. Hall June 5, 1922, in Wichita. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1983.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton.

Survivors include: two sons, Roland "Jack" Hall of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Clyde Hall of Sumner, Wash.; one daughter, Betty L. Hanson of Wichita; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by one son, William Hall; three brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. L. Ray Young officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home.

Memorials have been established with First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
