Audrey L. (Terry) Swann
Audrey L. (Terry) Swann, 94, of North
Newton, homemaker, died Sunday (March 12, 2000) at Kidron Bethel
Village.
She was born May 21, 1905, in Newton to
Melvin and Jessie (Shacklett) Winger. She married Brooks Terry in
Newton. He preceded her in death in 1963. She later married Maury
Swann. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She was a member of St. Matthew's
Episcopal Church in Newton and past member of Order of the Easter
Star in Texas. She enjoyed playing bridge, was an avid reader and
also enjoyed taking many trips from Minnesota to Texas.
Survivors include: one son, Frank R.
Terry of Kansas City; one daughter, Maggie Morgan of Newton; 10
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church with Rev. Joyce Holmes
officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today
at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
