BURRTON -- E. Ellen Ray, 54, of
Burrton, homemaker, died Wednesday (March 15, 2000) at her home.
She was born July 23, 1945, in
Brownsville, Pa., to Deay and Leota M. (Riley) Zahand. Her mother
survives of Hutchinson. She married James Steven Ray Sept. 14, 1980,
in Newport News, Va. He survives of the home.
She lived in Burrton since 1992.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Leota "Sissy" Balckick of Brownsville, Pa.; five sons,
Michael Balckick of Pennsylvania, Randy Balckick of Huntsville, Ala.,
Joe Balckick of Perryopolis, Pa., Joe Ray of Mulvane and Andy "A.J."
Fortner of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Mary Lee Stathers of
Clinton, Md., and Elma Duda of Uniontown, Pa.; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
father.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m.
Monday at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington.
Family will greet friends from 2 to 5
p.m. Sunday at Donahue Funeral Home in Herington.
