Leroy E. Britton
FLORENCE -- Leroy E. Britton, 59, of
Florence, retired oil field worker and welder, died Thursday (March
23, 2000) in El Dorado.
He was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Newton to
Howard Eugene and Joshephine Isabell (Seeney) Britton.
Survivors include: three sons, John
Britton of Missouri, Don Britton of Amarillo, Texas, and Mike Britton
of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Verna Grosse of El Dorado, Shannon
Britton of Nicoma Park, Okla., and Leah Schmidt and Ina Britton, both
of Marion; one brother, David Britton of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters,
Linda Britton of Florence, Janie Munsy of Amagorda, N.M., and Nelta
Harder of Emporia; and five grandchildren.
Inurnment service and burial will be 2
p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
Memorials have been established with
Marion County Home Health in care of Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence.
