Eugene C. Mull

Eugene C. Mull, 58, of Newton, died today (March 24, 2000) at Newton Medical Center.

More information will be announced later by Petersen Funeral Home.


Eugene Mull

Eugene Mull, 58, 809 Fairview, conductor for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, died Friday (March 24, 2000) at Newton Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 10, 1941, in Newton to Harry and Emogene (Smiley) Mull. His mother survives of Newton. He married Phyllis Hawkins Sept. 15, 1962, in Newton. She survives of Newton.

He was a 1961 graduate of Newton High School. He was a member of United Trainsmen Union.

Other survivors include: one son, K.C. Mull of Newton; one daughter, Rachelle I. Oswald of Newton; two brothers, Robert Mull of Wichita and Richard Mull of Halstead; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Steve Mull.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newton Christian Church with the Rev. William Fair from Newton Christian Church officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials have been established with donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
