Obituary

Mike W. Metzler, 49, of Newton, Kansas, died at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas, on Friday, August 18, 2000.

He was a member of the Missouri Valley Firefighters Association, the Kansas State Firefighters, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 20, 2000, 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Petersen Funeral Home, 215 North Main, Newton. Services are scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2:00 p.m., at Grace Community Church, Newton, officiated by Pastor David E. Reimer.
