Newton – Rev Frank J. Willems, 95, died March 6, 2015 at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He was born March 30, 1919 to Jacob and Lena (Boldt) Willems in Waldheim, Saskatchewan. He married Velma Reimer October 24, 1940 at Minden, Nevada. He was a Pastor. Survivors include: sons, Joe Willems of Hillsboro, Harry Willems of Great Bend; daughter, Sunny Christensen of Marion; 1 brother; 3 sisters; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife in 2013 and one son, Frank Jr. in 2010. Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Koerner Heights Church in Newton officiated by Pastor Dr. Tim Mace.
