HALSTEAD - Charleen "Blondie"
Conners, 92, died Thursday, March 18, 2015, at Halstead Health and
Rehabilitation, Halstead.
She was born March 7, 1923, at Wichita,
to Howard Floyd and Amber Vivian (Hunt) Titus.
She was a member of First United
Methodist Church, Halstead,and Matron and past Worthy Matron, Order
of the Eastern Star Chapter 5, Newton, for 60 years, 39 year member
Ruth-Wilson American Legion Post 231 Auxiliary and Halstead Red
Hatters.
On March 7, 1944, she married Elden F.
"Red" Conners at Wichita. He preceded her in death November
24, 2013.
Survivors include a daughter: Liz
(Terry Hofmann) Boyd, Halstead; grandsons: Bryce (Amy) Boyd, Wichita;
Billy (Michelle Heimerman) Boyd, Wichita; and three
great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Monday, March 23, 2015, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the
family present from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Kaufman Funeral Home, with Chaplain Rick
Schrag officiating.
Burial will follow at Halstead
Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Caring Hands
Humane Society, in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
