She was a favorite teacher of many of her pupils because her love and dedication to young lives shone through her caring spirit in the classroom.

Flo will be missed by many former pupils who, when they would see her in the store or on the street throughout her life, would call out to her with a friendly, "Hello Miss Hanna!"

Flo was very active in St. Mary's Catholic Church parish, where she served on the Parish Council many times.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Hanna; brothers, William (Billy), Robert John (RJ), Thomas (Tom) and Terence; a sister, Delia Anne; and nephews, David Hanna and Jordan Hanna.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Hanna Bell of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews in Wichita, Pasadena, Calif., Berkeley, Calif., Stanwood, Wash., Dallas and Houston; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
