Death Notice

The Evening Kansan-Republican

F. M. Payne, an old and highly respected resident of Burrton township living near Burrton died Sunday.  His death was caused by an attack of typhoid fever of several weeks duration.  Mr. Payne came to Harvey county in an early day and is well and favorably known to many people of the country.  He was an old soldier, a member of the Masonic fraternity under whose auspices the funeral was conducted.  The funeral was held yesterday morning.  Interment was made in Burrton Cemetery.
