Old Settler Dead Jesse Dean of Near Burrton Died Last Night at Home of His Son The death of Jesse Dean, age 72 years, took place this morning at two-thirty o'clock at the home of his son, John Dean of 328 Third Avenue east. Death was caused by pneumonia. Mr. Dead was a retired farmer and had lived for many years on his farm, two miles west of Burrton. His wife died just two months ago. The funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at two-thirty at the Christian Church at Burrton, conducted by Elder E. E. Durham of the Hutchinson Adventist church and burial will be in the Burrton cemetery. The surviving relatives include the following: Mrs. M. Gadberry, Mrs. Etta Shwis, John Dean and David Dean, all of Hutchinson, Jesse Dean of Oswego, J.W. Dean of Burrton, and Charles Dean of Wichita.
