Obituary
Mary Beverly Wade, 88, Topeka, passed
away September 2, 2015, at Midland Hospice House.
Beverly was born in Newton KS to Leo
and Jean Turnpaugh Polhans on March 11, 1927. Bev married James T.
Wade on June 8, 1950, in Newton KS. She was a member of several
ladies bridge clubs and Santa Fe Women's Club. Bev was a Eucharistic
lay minister and volunteered at several schools and churches. Bev
enjoyed collecting post cards, playing bridge and going to her
grandchildren's sporting events.
Bev is survived by husband, James T.
Wade; children, Mary Ellen Kelly (Dennis), Mike Wade (Becky); two
grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight step-greatgrandchildren
and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and her
sister, Loyette Olson.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday,
September 7, 2015, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW
Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, with parish rosary prayed at 6 p.m. Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
September 8, 2015, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th
Street, Topeka KS 66614. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary
Cemetery.
