Obituary

Billie Jean Bomhoff, 95, passed away peacefully September 4, 2015 at her residence in Laguna Woods, CA.

She was born March 21, 1920 at Clearwater, KS to Willis Glen and Helen (Nickerson) Aldridge.

Billie was a former longtime Sedgwick resident moving to Laguna Woods in 2002.

She worked in the offices of Sedgwick High School for 34 years. She was a long-time member of Sedgwick United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.

On June 13, 1943 Billie J. married Billy P. Bomhoff at her parents' home in Sedgwick. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1979.

Survivors include daughter: Deanne Meidell, Laguna Hills, CA; grandsons: Kyle (Nicole) Meidell, Colin (Andrea) Meidell; great-grandchildren Adrian, Ethan, Luke Meidell and Nora Meidell.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and her sister, Betty Lou Wiley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at Sedgwick United Methodist Church with Pastor Jan McDaniel officiating.

Memorials may be given to Sedgwick United Methodist Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, KS.
