CODY, Wyo. - Jean Ann Friesen, 77, died
Nov. 27, 2006, in Cody, Wyo. She was born in Newton and graduated
from Newton High School. Local survivors include brother Robert
Prouty of Newton and Ted Prouty of Hesston; and sisters Liz
Schierling of Wichita, Marilyn Van Rossun of Moundridge and Mary
Ballard of Hesston. The funeral was Dec. 2. Memorials may be made to
West Park Long Term Care Center or Spirit Mountain Hospice, both in
Cody.
