Obituary
Hollister, MO - Robert J. Butin, 62,
landscape architect, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his
residence.
He was born July 2, 1952 at Manhattan,
KS to Charles and Eva Lee (Yung) Butin.
He attended River Church, Forsythe, MO,
was a member of the Council of Landscape Architecture Registration
Board and was a 1978 graduate of Kansas State University.
Survivors include his mother: Eva Lee
Butin, Halstead, KS; sisters: Jan Butin, Lawrence, KS; Sandy (David)
Procter, Manhattan, KS; Connie Butin, Wichita, KS; and nephews Ben
and Sam Procter.
A memorial service will be held 11:00
a.m. Saturday, February 28, at First United Methodist Church,
Halstead KS with Rev. Jane Voelkel officiating.
A private inurnment will take place at
Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the KSU
Landscape Architecture Excellence Fund or Missouri Native Plant
Association in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, KS.
