Frankie Marley died Friday (July 1, 2016) at Newton Medical Center.

Frankie "Frank" Marley's life began on June 11, 1931, the son of Robert and Hazel (James) Marley in Vinita, Oklahoma. He faithfully served our country in the Air Force. Frank enjoyed watching Wichita State basketball and The University of Kansas basketball. He worked most of his life in transportation as a truck driver.

His loving family includes his daughter Joni Marley of Newton, son Robert Marley of Great Bend, daughter Cami Knight of Newton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may gather with the family at 10 a.m. on Saturday (July 9, 2016) at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado where Frank will be laid to rest.
