Edith C. Schroeder
Edith C. Schroeder, 83, 109 S. Sherman Drive, died Saturday (Dec. 24, 1994) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 25, 1910, in Walton, to Fred Sattler and Augusta Haus Sattler. She married Pete F. Schroeder on May 12, 1931, in Valley Center. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Newton.
Other survivors include three sons, Bob and Richard, both of Newton and Delbert of Fort Collins, Colo.; five daughters, Delores Mock of Chicago, Marjorie Michalk of Madera, Calif., Carolyn Shepherd of Bethany, Okla., Donna Heil of Elbing and Janet Olbricht of Newton; one brother, William Sattler of Udall; two sisters, Eleanor Mathews of Wichita and Ethel Ohlerking of Aston, Pa; 33 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothrrs and three sisters.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Churchh with the Rev. Ronald Gloe and Keith Trevolt officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Petersen's Funeral Home.
