James C. Young
BENTLEY -- James C. Young, 71, lifelong Bentley resident, died Tuesday (Dec. 20, 1994) at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born in Bentley on Feb. 16, 1923, to Willard Glenn Young and Mabel B. Crawford Young. He married Janette C. Breit on Aug. 28, 1975. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and Eagle Township employee. He was a member of the American Legion 231 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Andale, and a past master of the Halstead Masonic Lodge in Halstead.
Other survivors include two sons, Lynn Young of Hutchinson and Jim Clark of Derby; one daughter, Susan Simon of Bentley; one sister, Beulah Eileen Jahnke of Wichita; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bentley with the Rev. Eugene Bandy officiating.
