Obituary: Frank L. Sisson

Newton, Kan.  —   Frank L. Sisson, 74, retired Pinsker Steel painter, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.

He was born Sept. 26, 1938, at Patterson to Norman Lewis and Hazel Pearl (Cotton) Sisson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Bentley. On Nov. 22, 1972, he married Karen Sue George at Maize, and she survives at Newton.

Other survivors include daughters: Linda Srader, Newton, Hazel Sisson, Wichita; brother; Lonnie (Maxine) Sisson, Sebastopol, Calif.; sister: Norma Torpey, Green River, Wyo.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lewis, and a brother, Marvin.

Graveside services and inurnment will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley, with Pastor Lawrence Oyer officiating.

Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, is in charge of the arrangements.
