Jean Louise Adrian

Jean Louise Adrian, 85, passed away to her heavenly home on June 22, 2015, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Halstead, to Henry Peter and Catherine Margaret (Gilligan) Berger.

Jean held the distinguished honor of Blue Shield of Kansas board member from 1979 to 1982. She was employed for over 25 years at NCR Corporation, where she held the position of Executive Administrator to the President and during her tenure was state representative in the Minisa Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

She married George Adrian on Feb. 19, 1994, in Wichita. He died April 11, 2009. Other survivors include: son, Bruce Redinger of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Jason Linden (Brooke) of Lyons, Stephanie Schimer, Lisa Stout (Phil), all of Sterling, Dustin Redinger (Jennifer) of Delhi, New York, Sheri Redinger of Wichita, Troy Redinger of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Kathy Jarrett; son, Dennis Redinger; infant son, Stephen Redinger; two sisters; and a brother.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Dixie Voss Anders presiding. Burial will follow in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family to receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
