Obituary: Amy Erl Little Reiff
Amy Erl Little Reiff was born on June 28, 1923, in Newton to
parents F.A. Little and Flora Rogers Little.
She graduated from Newton High School in 1941 and attended
Kansas University. She married Glenn A. Reiff, also of Newton, in 1947. As
Glenn was a naval officer, she lived in many states with her husband and was a
devoted mother to her two children, Glenn II and Martha.
Since 1970, Amy lived in Pueblo, Colo. She passed on March
2, 2013, after a short illness in Steamboat Springs, Colo., where she had gone
to be near her son.
Her husband predeceased her on Jan. 18, 2005, and a younger
brother, Willard, predeceased her in 1933. Her elder brother, Frank A. Little
Jr. passed a few hours after she did on March 2.
She is survived by her children, Glenn A. Reiff II (Lynn)
and Martha J. Reiff.
Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice if
you desire. Private burial will take place on March 7 at Greenwood Cemetery in
Newton.
