Edmon Leon Lundblade, age 76, passed away peacefully to be with his beloved wife on Saturday, January, 12, 2013, at his home in Mustang, Okla.

He was born in Great Bend and married to Marilyn E. Riesen April 28th, 1969.

As a young man he worked in the oil fields and later as a salesman in the mobile home industry in Kansas. His proudest career was as a Lieutenant with the Newton Police Department in Newton. Ed served as a member of the Kansas Peace Officers Association, and held the position of Governor for District 5 in 1989. He retired after 20 years with the NPD. Ed became active with the Gold Wing Road Riders Association in Kansas and later in Oklahoma. He held several positions with GWRRA including chapter director, camping coordinator and riders education trainer. He and Marilyn loved riding and camping with their GWRRA friends. His gift of humor lightened up the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his daughters, Crystal (Ron) Fite of Austin, Texas, and Traci (Mark) Moose of Tulsa, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Fite, Alexandria and Tyler Moose.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Marilyn E. (Riesen) Lundblade; father, Ira E. Lundblade; and mother, Fara D. (Jones) Lundblade.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17th, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Demuth Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, Okla.; Rev. Larry Thompson officiating.
