Walker, Virgil

Virgil L. Walker, died at Cottonwood Manor on Sunday (August 13, 1974).


Pallbearers were Messrs. Carl R. Hamm Jr., Leroy Postier, Curtis W. Bliss, Roy Vogts, Edward F. Wilson, Glenn S. Wilson and

William L. Phillips. Out-of-town relatives who attended the services were Messrs. And Mesdames Carl Hamm Sr., Ray Hiner, William

Phillips, Leroy Postier and Mrs. Cora KehI and Dana KehI, all of Valley Center; Mrs. Helen W. Fooshee, Newton; Mr. and Mrs. Curtis

W. Bliss, Neosho Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carlson and family, Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wilson, Topeka; and Mr. and Mrs. Roy

Vogts and family, Olpe.


Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning (Aug 15) at the Roberts-Blue Barnett Chapel. The Rev. Paul Ansley, Pastor of the Christian Church at Madison, conducted the services. Mrs. Robert Lenigan was the organist. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Newton.  (c) HCGS.  The Emporia Gazette, Emporia, Kansas.
