Obituary: June Eshelman

Mrs. June Eshelman, 89, of Salisbury, NC, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012, at her residence. Born August 16, 1923, in Augusta, Kansas, to the late Mildred Hollister and Everett Douglass, she attended Sedgwick High School in Kansas. Mrs. Eshelman was the founder and president of Communication Specialists in Newton, Kansas. Mrs. Eshelman was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury, where she served on the Columbarium planning and fellowship committees. She was also a member of the P.E.O., the Serendipity Book Club, and the Hurley Park Advisory Board. Surviving is her husband Kermit Eshelman of Salisbury, NC; sons, Dick Eshelman, Stephen Eshelman, and Doug Eshelman. A funeral service will be held Saturday (Sept. 15) at 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church, conducted by Dr. Jim Dunkin. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 308 W.
