Teresa Bazil
Obituary
Teresa Norene (Temple) Bazil, 57,
entered into the gates of heaven in the early morning hours of
November 30, 2016, in Post Falls, Idaho, at home with her family by
her side. Her courageous spirit and strong will was second to none,
which allowed her to enjoy one last early Christmas with her family.
She was born in Alva, Oklahoma, on
Sept. 30, 1959, to Darrell and Phyllis Temple. She moved to the
Portland, Oregon, area with her family where she lived for many of
her younger years. While she was there she met Stephen Jerald whom
she married in 1977 and had three children with. Her and her family
eventually moved to Post falls, Idaho in the early 1990s for a fresh
start. In the late 1990s she moved to Newton to be closer to her
parents, which is where she met David Bazil Jr., whom she married in
2008.
Teresa and David had a happy, but sadly
short marriage. They smiled often and enjoyed going out to eat as
well as spending time at the local VFW. For the last few months of
their life they enjoyed it in Milwaukie, Oregon, and finally made it
to the ocean before Teresa moved in with her daughter in Post Falls,
Idaho, and David moved back to Newton to be cared for by his mother,
Doris. Their love story will forever be a poetic one.
Teresa enjoyed the simple things in
life, including spending time with family and friends, swinging on
swings and stargazing. She loved butterflies, the San Francisco 49ers
and walking anywhere her bare feet could take her. She made friends
anywhere she went. She had a gift for gab and a big heart for
everyone.
Teresa is preceded in death by her
parents; son Brandon Jerald, and brother Darrell Dean Temple. She was
survived by her husband David Bazil Jr. who passed a short four days
later. She was also survived by daughter Jamie Jerald, son Randall
Jerald, six grandchildren, brother George Temple, and many nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
God needed her more than we did, and we
will miss her every day until we meet her again.
