Nada M. Wedel
Nada M. Wedel, 85, died on Tuesday (July 31, 2012) at
Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1927, to August P. and Marie Brandt
Vogts in Moundridge. She was a homemaker and custodian. She married Allen Wedel
on May 14, 1947, in Canton. He died on Jan. 31, 2006.
Survivors include sons, Rieny (Patty) Wedel of Moundridge and
Rex (Tracey) Wedel of McPherson; daughters, Cyndi (Joseph) Anderson of Topeka
and Patti (Russell) Smith of Overland Park; three grandchildren; and sister,
Roberta (Stan) Schrag of Moundridge.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran
Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family
present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Moundridge Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Mound Township Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice Care of Kansas or
Schowalter Villa, both in care of the funeral home.
