Rosalie Ann Spaniol
Rosalie Ann Spaniol, 68, died on Wednesday (July 4, 2012).
She was born on March 18, 1944, in Florence, the daughter of Albert and Alice
Stamp Uphoff. She was a member of New Life Christian Church, Esther Rebekah
Lodge No. 458, LAPM No. 21 and LEA No. 32, all of Hutchinson, IOOF No. 248 and
LEA No. 98, both of Pratt. Rosalie was a cashier at Target for more than 10
years, retiring in 2005. She was first married to Wesley Landes in 1960; they
divorced. Then on Sept. 12, 1975, she married Billy Lee Spaniol in Newton. He
survives.
Other survivors include her children and stepchildren, Gary
(Teresa) Landes of Hutchinson, Jeff (Kendra) Landes of Iowa City, Iowa, Sherri
Landes of Hutchinson, Heidi Moore of McPherson, Holly Williams of Hutchinson,
Melody (Charles) Vest and Cindy (Mike) Renollet, both of Arlington, and Terry
Spaniol of Hutchinson; her mother of Hutchinson; two brothers, Albert Uphoff of
Belleville and Melvin Uphoff Sr. of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; and 17
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and her daughter,
Rochelle Landes.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday (July 6, 2012),
with family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main in
Hutchinson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday (July 7, 2012)
at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor John Frey officiating. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery.
