Marilyn K. Busenitz, 68, entered Eternal Glory, Friday (July 7, 2012), from Presbyterian Manor in Newton.

She was born on March 31. 1944, in Newport, Wash., the daughter of Dan and Edna (Franz) Dalke. On June 11, 1965, she was united in marriage to Laverne R. Busenitz. They were missionaries with Biblical Ministries Worldwide, where she worked with children. Their work would take them to Germany from 1969 to 2007. Their union was blessed with five sons. Marilyn is lovingly survived by her parents, the Rev. Dan and Edna (Franz) Dalke of Inman; her husband, the Rev. Lav-erne Busenitz of Newton; her sons: Darryl and his wife Lori of Burns, Michael and his wife Lindy of Chihuahua, Mexico, Stefan and wife Tera of Burns, Alex and his wife Becca, and Neil of Newton; her siblings: Cheryl Epp of Colorado Springs, Colo., Dale Dalke of Vancouver, Wash., Arleve Clark of Dayton, Ohio, Verle Dalke of Dallas, Ore., and Vonda McEachern of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 24 grandchildren. All services will be at Emmaus Mennonite Church of Whitewater, with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will precede funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Emmaus Mennonite Cemetery, Whitewater. Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater, is entrusted with arrangements.
