Olga M. Busenitz
NEWTON — Olga M. Busenitz, 91, passed away June 7, 2012,
surrounded by the love of her family at Kidron Bethel Village, North Newton.
She was born near Whitewater, on Dec. 15, 1920, the daughter
of Emil H. and Margaret (Epp) Wiebe.
On May 31, 1946, she was united in marriage to Gerhard A.
Busenitz. She was a homemaker and farm wife. Their union was blessed with six
children. Olga was active in the Emmaus Mennonite Church, the Emmaus Willing
Workers and EHU.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerhard in 1972,
and by a brother Donald Wiebe.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Laverle of Halstead; Arvin and his wife Kathy
of Newton; Dee Anderson of North Newton; Elroy and his wife Ruth Kyle of
Wichita; Merle and wife Ann of Papa, New Guinea; and Vera Hart of Weatherford,
Texas; a brother Elvin Wiebe of Whitewater; 12 grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
All services will be at Emmaus Mennonite Church of
Whitewater, with visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m Friday and
funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will precede funeral service at
10 a.m. at Emmaus Mennonite Cemetery.
