Alvin E. Becker
MOUNDRIDGE -- Alvin E. Becker, 90,
retired farmer, died Tuesday (Nov. 4, 2003) at Moundridge Manor. He
was born June 3, 1913, to Cornelius and Lena (Unruh) Becker in Los
Animos, Colo. He married Evelyn Koehn May 23, 1937, in Halstead. She
survives of Moundridge. He had been a Moundridge resident five years,
moving from Rich Hill, Mo. He was a member of Bethany Church of God
in Christ, Mennonite in Rich Hill. Other survivors include: two sons,
Bruce Becker of Ulysses and Keith Becker of Rich Hill; two daughters,
Jo Marie Seiler of Halstead and Iris Boehs of Ulysses; a brother, Ben
Becker of Rich Hill; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother
and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m.
Wednesday with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p. m.
Moundridge Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a. m.
Friday at Bethany Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Rich Hill
with Minsters Lance Dirks and Kenneth Koehn officiating.
Burial will be in Bethany Church
Cemetery in Rich Hill.
