Obituary

NEWTON — Sharon H. Buller, 76, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 20, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at Asbury Park in Newton. 

She was born on July 30, 1935, in Hutchinson to Arnold G. and Glendora M. (Eicker) Henson. She married James F. Kramer Sr. on Sept. 1, 1956, and they were later divorced.

She married Elmer R. Buller on Dec. 14, 1985, in Wichita.

Sharon was a long-time, active member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Wichita, where she served as a deacon. She was a graduate of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colo., with a degree in chemistry. She worked as a lab technician at the Wichita Clinic and later as a medical secretary at the KU School of Medicine in Wichita. She enjoyed genealogy, playing bridge and spending time with her loving family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Buller of Newton; son, James F. Kramer Jr. and his wife, Ava P. Kramer of India; daughter, Karen K. McKay and her husband, James A. Bates of Aurora, Colo.; stepdaughter, Diana G. Carmichael and her husband, Jerry D. Carmichael of Newton; stepson, Glen R. Buller of Wichita; grandchildren, Colby L. Dixon, Caleb A. Kramer, Shea E. Beckmann, Tashina S. Beckmann, Jeffrey A. Enslinger and his wife, Amanda L. Enslinger, and John J. Enslinger; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. The memorial service is at 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway in Wichita, with the Rev. Amy Baumgartner presiding.
