Helen Marie LeeWICHITA - Helen Marie Lee, 86, died Saturday (Nov. 4, 2006) at Comfort Care Home in Wichita. She was born April 7, 1920, to Nell (McSparen) and Carl T. Wiley in Omaha, Neb. On Dec. 5, 1941, she married Alan E. Lee in Wichita. He survives of the home. She enjoyed working with the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution working on genealogy projects and sewing. Other survivors include her daughter, Carole Jeanne (Lee) Malin of Newton; her son, James A. Lee of Glastonbury, Conn.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Anita Babler and Lynelle Gerber; and a brother, Carl T. Wiley Jr. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at College Hill United Methodist Church, 2930 E. First in Wichita. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Memorials have been established with Midwest Genealogical Society in Wichita and the American Kidney Foundation in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.
