Obituary: Betty Florine (Dilley) BakerBetty Florine (Dilley) Baker died on Wednesday (May 4, 2011) at Newton Medical Center. She was born on July 30, 1923, in Wichita to William Dilley and Mable (Lambert) Dilley. She was a registered nurse in the Newton schools. She married Robert E. Baker on Dec. 31, 1944, in Wichita, and he survives. She also is survived by sons, Bill Baker of Wichita and Don Baker of Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mable Dilley. She has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Central Community Church in Wichita. Pastor Dale Lewis will officiate. Interment will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody. Memorials may be given to Newton Presbyterian Manor. Baker Funeral Home in Peabody is in charge of the arrangements.
