Wilford L. Holdeman
MOUNDRIDGE - Wilford L. Holdeman, 91, died Thursday (Feb. 4,
2010) at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.
He was born on June 21, 1918, in Hesston to Frank and Emma
Overholt Holdeman. He was a farmer.
He married Martha Ratzlaff May 4, 1941, in Galva. She
survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Kenneth (Virginia),
Linford (Irene) and Verle (Phyllis), all of Halstead, and Clinton (Ruth) of
Elma, Iowa; two daughters, Marlis (Kenneth) Barkman of Cartwright, Manitoba,
Canada, and Darlene (Weldon) Koehn of Halstead; a twin brother, Willard (Rosa)
of Moundridge; sisters; Emma Burns of Rio Verde, Brazil, and Twila Unruh of
Halstead; 28 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and two great-great
grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Moundridge
Funeral Home and from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Church.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Garden
View Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, in Halstead.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the Moundridge Manor or
Mercy Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
