Linda L. Jamison

Linda L. Jamison 68, died Monday (Feb. 8, 2010) at Newton Medical Center. She was born Oct. 21, 1941, in Lincoln, Neb., to Earl and Margaurite (Critchfield) Beaushaw.

Linda was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed reading, playing board games and cooking.

She was an avid collector of recipes, and salt and pepper shakers. Linda was a people person, and her family was very important to her. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her sons, David Jamison and wife, Rita, of Moundridge, and Kahn Steele and companion, Larry Lucky, of Newton; sisters, Myrna Pulaski of Newton, and Carolyn Riley and husband, James of Newton; and brother, Vaughn 'Butch' Beaushaw and wife, Carol of Newton; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, two infant children and husband, Donald Jamison.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Friday at Petersen Funeral Home. There will be a private family inurnment.

Memorial funds may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or Newton Public Library in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
