Obituary
Betty Ann Love, 83, of Newton, passed
away on Monday (Oct. 9, 2017) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. Betty
was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Goessel, the daughter of Arthur and Esther
(Linginfelter) Buller.
After graduating high school, Betty
married Gene Love on Aug. 8, 1953, in Newton. She worked as a clerk
at Dillons Grocery Store until her retirement. Betty was a loving
wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending
time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Love
(Debbie), and his children, Jimmy, Jeff and Justin Love, all of
Pittsburg; daughter, Laurie Whitty (Chris) of Alice, Texas, and their
children: Heather of Houston, Travis of Warren, Michigan, and Brendon
of Victoria, Texas; children of deceased daughter Debbie Allison:
Tressie Smith of Newton, Jason Smith of Altus, Oklahoma, Chelsey
Watts of Olathe and Brandi Celbulski of Newton; sisters, Hester Keith
and Helen Moore; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Gene; daughter, Debbie Allison; brother, Kenneth
Buller; and sisters, Elvera Harms and Susan Williams.
Memorial Service will be held at 9:30
a.m. Saturday (Oct. 14, 2017) at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.
Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery in Walton.
