Margaret O. Baldwin
Margaret O. Baldwin, 77, 1124 Old Main, retired assistant librarian at Herington Public Library, died Saturday (Feb. 9, 1991) at Halstead Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Waters officiating. Burial will be in Empire Cemetery, rural Galva.
She was born April 29, 1913, in Colony, Okla., the daughter of the Rev. Edward W. and Roas Marion (Aspley) Davison. On Feb. 16, 1937 she married Dick R. Baldwin in Healey. He survives. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Shew as a member of the Extension Homemakers Unit, the Horseless Carriage Club of Hutchinson, and had lived in Newton since 1974, moving from Herington.
Other survivors include three sons, Miles Edward Baldwin of Colby, James R Baldwin of Paisley, Ore., and David L. Baldwin of Glide, Ore.; two daughters, Roberta J. Stone and Lucinda K. Calhoun, both of Wichita; one sister, Frankie E. Couchman of Larned; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p. m. today at Petersen's Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Halstead Hospital Foundation.
