HESSTON - Viola Elizabeth Hollenberg
Swank, 88, died Dec. 19, 2017, at her home in Hesston.
She was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Sebring,
Florida, the daughter of John H. and Ada Dunning Hollenberg.
She graduated high school in Indiana.
She was a homemaker. She married Harry Kenton Swank, Jr. on Jan. 1,
1950, in Sebring, Florida.
He died Dec. 3, 2013.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth
(Barbara) Swank, Eustis, Florida and Don (Cheri) Swank, Hesston;
daughters, Barbara (Arlon) Fishburn, Hesston, Kathy (Gene) Ewert,
Neodesha, Carol (Bryan) Unruh, Fort Worth, Texas, and Wanda (Scott)
Miller, Hesston; a brother, Ralph Hollenberg, Sebring, Florida;
sisters, Edna Rutkosky, Sebring, Florida and Dorothy Light, Columbia,
Pennsylvania; 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and a brother, George Hollenberg.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service was held Dec. 27 at
Kingdom Life Ministries, Hesston, with Pastor Scott Miller presiding.
Private family inurnment will take
place at a later date, in Montana.
