William H. 'Willy' Roller

William H. "Willy" Roller passed away on Wednesday (Nov. 25, 2009) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center St. Francis in Wichita.

William, the loving son of Robert and Allean Roller, was born on Oct. 18, 1956, in Carrolton, Mo.

William spent his early years in Carrollton and moved to Newton with his mother in 1970.

He united with the Second Baptist Church in 1970. He was a member of the building fund committee.

William graduated from Newton High School in 1975. He served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Garlested, Germany.

William was a heavy equipment operator for the city of Newton.

He is survived by his mother, Allean Roller, and a host of relatives who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Roller.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Petersen Family Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St. in Newton, KS 67114.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Family Funeral Home.
