Della Goering Krehbiel, 92, died Sunday
(August 1, 2010) at Memorial Home in Moundridge.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1917, in
Pretty Prairie to Peter P. and Lizzie (Graber) Goering.
She was a homemaker and drapery
seamstress.
She married Ed Krehbiel on Jan. 13,
1935, in Pretty Prairie.
Survivors include two sons, Maynard
(Marlene) Krehbiel of McPherson and Ron (Nancy) Krehbiel of Burrton;
grandchildren, Gail (Ardy) Graber, Doug (Jude) Krehbiel, Wes (Sheryl)
Krehbiel, Annette Krehbiel, Jenny (Robert) Schrag, Clinton (Shelly)
Krehbiel, Jamie (Russ) Kaufmann, Damon (Karen) Krehbiel, Kelly (Mike)
Hayes and Kori (Dennis) Parlett; seventeen great-grandchildren; five
great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Ed, in 2004; her son, Robert in 1999; brothers, David, Will,
Tobe, Victor, Harry and Bennie; and sisters, Martha Krehbiel, Bess
Strausz and Viola Voran.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge
Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Eden Mennonite Church in Moundridge.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to
Eden Mennonite Church or Hospice Care of Kansas, both in care of the
funeral home.
