George Stanley Ammann
George Stanley Ammann, 74, of Newton, died Monday (July 27,
2009) at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
He was born on July 9, 1935, in Alliance, Neb., the son of
George A. and Zenita E. Symms Ammann.
From 1957 to 1960, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He had
lived in Newton for several years and had worked as a taxi cab driver.
He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Johnson.
Memorial services will be at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Kansas
Christian Home with Emerson Gillett officiating.
Private inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established with Kansas Christian Home.
