Larry Lee Calbert

Larry Lee Calbert, 74, of Hardy died Sept. 24, 2008, at home in Hardy. He was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Hutchinson to Sid and Charlottte (Moss) Calbert. He attended Newton High School. He married Donna Spear, and to this union were born two daughters, Jeri Lee and Jane Ellen. He married Ruth Skelton, and to this union, twin sons, Kelly and Kevin Calbert, were born. Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After discharge, he returned to Kansas and worked for Beech Aircraft before going into construction work.

He is survived by daughters, Jeri Lee (Wiley) Smith of Cypress, Calif., and Jane McNeil of Conway, Ark.; sons, Kelly Calbert and Kevin Calbert of Derby; brother, Ronald (Judy) Calbert of Newton; brother-in-law, Louie Seibert of Hardy; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; and several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Anita Seibert.

Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
