Clarissa E. Olson
Clarissa E. Olson, 89, of
Overland Park, passed away Tuesday (Sept. 23, 2008) at Garden Terrace Nursing
Center. Mrs. Olson was born March 13, 1919, in Axtell. She had lived in Newton
for most of her life until moving to Overland Park in 2005. Clarissa was a
homemaker. Survivors include sons, Richard, David and Philip Anthony Olson;
daughters, Mary Snyder and Ann Robins; brother Jerry Meyer; sisters, Elizabeth
Brenner and Sylvia Ross; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, John, and a son, John Jr.
Visitation will be from 9 to
10 a.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Shawnee, with Mass of
Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be at 3 p.m.
Friday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Newton.
Memorial donations may be
made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Harvey County Historical Society.
